Hey gorgeous Virgos! It’s all about letting your
hair down in December, as five planets descend on your house of romance and
pleasure, to give your leisure activities a real boost over the festive period.
There is a rather frenetic feel to events however, as Mercury, your ruling
planet is extremely busy connecting with different planets across the skies.
Taking time out to really enjoy what is on offer and not trying to be in two
places at once will bring the most out of any opportunities right now. Try not
to over analyse things either, let events take their course. With the Sun also
in this area from the 22nd, the last week of December brings lots of ideas for
what you want to do over Christmas, this is about making choices which you agree
with, not that simply suit everyone else. Many Virgos feel such a strong need to
do their duty, particularly at this time of year, that they forget about
themselves and wake up on New Year’s day feeling disillusioned and depressed
about their Christmas! Make sure you assert your own needs for once without
feeling guilty, and you will have a wonderful time. The new Moon of the 27th is
a great time to plan a New Year pastime or make a resolution to spend more time
with a child, you will feel passionate about this decision and it could really
change your life.
Look out during the first half of the month though for
some conflict with close partners, particularly around events planned in the
home, family issues or domestic chores. Again, some of this could relate to
whose relatives are coming for Christmas dinner, and again, you will find
yourself at the centre of this furore trying to make everyone happy. Partners
are continuing to behave unpredictably here too under Uranus’s influence, so be
prepared for them suddenly changing their mind about where you go and what you
do. The full Moon of the 12th will illuminate the way forward in this situation,
and expose everyone’s deeper hopes and aspirations. While you will see the way
forward under her light, you may also see a few skeletons coming out of
cupboards, so be above board and tackle your partner will total honesty, it is
the only way forward really for everyone concerned.
Your everyday routines and work are continuing to cause
you some chagrin in December, as Neptune persists in confusing and distorting
your attempts to be anywhere near as efficient as you like to be. He is joined
by Venus between the 22nd and 29th too, so while this is a wonderfully warm
connection for love and romance in your everyday situations, neither of these
two are hot on practicality! The comet Chiron doesn’t help matters here either,
Chiron is known as the wounded healer and highlights areas of our lives where we
feel unworthy or not good enough somehow, which then leads to guilt and over
compensating for our perceived weaknesses. This is particularly true for Virgos,
who strive for perfection in all aspects of their lives. These current feelings
of not being able to organise yourself or your life therefore lead to your
feeling inadequate, so you are trying too hard to stick to a rigid health regime
or work plan. You really do need to give yourself a break here, the key to true
inner control is to stop striving for control! Allow yourself time to laze
around a little and experience some of the more fluid, romantic aspects of the
Venus-Neptune conjunction over the festive period, and show family and friends
