Hello Taurus! It’s all about hard work for you in October, as the Sun’s presence in this part of your chart until the 23rd brings you lots of energy for tackling those tedious tasks. Mercury is also lingering here throughout the month, but he continues his reverse spin until the 16th, so you may find work colleagues a little hard to understand, and even when he changes direction again you will still be going over issues which you dealt with in September, so there will be a feeling of frustration around communication at work all month. Some tension could arise between the 1st and 10th too over a trip you have planned or some training or higher education you hoped to embark upon. You may find during these days that a chore or work obligation prevents you from doing what you had hoped. This issue will be resolved around the 23rd to 29th so take heart.

Any heavy duty loan or mortgage matters will also receive an energy boost between the 1st and 4th, and again around the 19th to 23rd, as you get cracking straightening out your financial affairs. Taureans like to feel materially secure so don’t get too compulsive about ridding yourself of debts here, or you will leave yourself short somewhere else. Career plans too are well starred throughout the month, your plans and dreams for your future will be supported by those around you, but take care around the 14th when the full Moon connects with Neptune, and a private matter could be exposed by someone who underhandedly tries to gain your trust. Just take care who you talk to around this time and play those career cards close to your chest.

Your close relationships are receiving some heavenly attention in October too, as Mars arrives in this part of your chart on the 5th.  He joins your planet Venus, who is gracing this area with her presence until the 18th. She connects with no less than four of the Zodiac big guys between the 4th and 11th of the month, so there will be a strong influence from partners during this week on all your affairs, they will really be keen to help you out. There could be a rather aggressive or tense air around close relationships once she vacates however, and with Mars also forming some powerful connections across the skies from the 22nd into early November, you may find your close one a touch overbearing during this period. With the Sun arriving here on the 24th too, there may well be a few conflicts around for this last week of the month. The new Moon of the 28th is a good time to start a project or turn over a new leaf with your partner, if you can agree on what you both want!

Serious Saturn and unpredictable Uranus also begin a head to head battle across the skies this month, which will continue into September next year. These two support opposing teams generally, with Saturn standing for the existing order and Uranus seeking change and progression, and the battle takes place across your houses of personal time and friendships. This is basically about sticking with your own pastimes and hobbies versus opening yourself to new and more diverse groups and activities with others, and if you have children you may also find their increased need for independence especially difficult. Taureans are not fond of change, but regrettably it is inevitable, and you will emerge from this difficult aspect with a more balanced attitude towards your personal needs and those of the people you care for.
