Happy Birthday Taurus!! With the Sun shining brightly in your sign until the 20th of May, you are feeling like making your mark on the world and planning your future. Venus, your ruling planet is also in Taurus until the 24th, so you are conscious of your image and the way you look, and the new Moon of the 5th is an excellent time to try out a new style. We also experience a rather rare event with the full Moon this month, it happens in Scorpio for the second month running. You may have found April’s full Moon tough going, as this activity was centred on how others truly see you, and outdated routines or habits you decided to give up as a result may still be lingering. Not to worry, things will feel much more final here by the 20th of May.
You may also feel lifted by a Grand Trine formed by Venus in your sign, with Saturn and Pluto. Last month it was Mercury and the Sun who completed this great and fortuitous triangle in the sky, but from the 1st to 3rd of May it’s Venus’s turn, and spending some time on the things you love to do is what it’s about here. These few days are for feeling good and really enhancing your life with some personal time. The 10th to 24th are also a busy fourteen days, as both the Sun and Venus connect to Jupiter and Neptune. A trip taken on a whim is possible during this period, certainly faraway destinations and broadening your mind are all topical issues for you, but worries in your career relating to your sense of identity or public image could call you. You may not be putting yourself across as you would like, and are keen to know what people are thinking of you.
Mercury is zipping through your area of personal finances from the 3rd of May, clearing up discussions and ideas about money nicely, but watch out from the 27th, things may hit a hurdle as he starts flying backwards. Anything which you resolved between the 12th and 26th could come back like a boomerang after this date, and you won’t really feel like you are making headway again till around the 20th of June. Beware also of lost receipts or statements, broken cash machines or missed meetings during this time, take care to double check any payments. The Sun and Venus provide some assistance here from the 21st and 25th respectively, but tension with Saturn and Pluto could result in activities or travel plans draining your finances too for this last week. With Mercury also squaring up to impetuous Uranus between the 23rd and 30th, you may also find financial matters relating to your work are a little erratic.
There is more planetary shifting of direction during May, with a total of four planets changing course, giving the month a bit of a confusing feel. Jupiter goes into reverse in your travel area on the 10th , so opportunities for enhancing your life experience may become less frequent over the next few months, and Neptune follows him on the 27th, to add further confusion to career matters! There is good news however, as serious Saturn finally starts to move forward in your area of pastimes, children and romance on the 3rd, so these things will have a lighter feel. Elsewhere, Mars enters your family sector on the 10th, to whip your home into shape and get those chores done. Domestic atmospheres could get a touch aggressive though so watch out!
