Hey Taurus! You really need to keep a check on
your cash flow as we move towards Christmas, particularly in relation to any
money you spend on leisure activities or your social life. Splashing out on
these occasions could really leave you financially high and dry if you don’t
take care. The problem is a tense aspect between three planets in your houses of
leisure, social events and loans and mortgages, which is brought to a head by
the full Moon of the 12th in your financial sector. The 4th to 11th will be very
tense days for balancing your desire to have a good pre-Christmas knees up with
a need to keep up to date with what you owe, and you may rely a little too
heavily on your personal income during these days to top up what you spend. The
full Moon adds a fourth corner to this tense aspect, forming a pattern across
the heavens known as a Grand Cross, and around this time you may get a rude
awakening as the true damage to your bank balance is highlighted! We know bulls
are sensible people and you probably won’t over do it too much, just be warned
and take care with that purse!
Mercury is a busy bee this month, making connections
across the skies with many planets, and his entrance into your house of travel
and higher learning on the 13th of December will increase your desire for some
mind-bending debates, and exploration of all manner of interesting and
philosophical issues. It’s important that you get out there during these last
two weeks of the month and expose yourself to topics, people and places that
will stimulate and broaden your mind, or you will become frustrated and easily
bored. With Pluto also now in this area, you could feel quite compulsive, even a
touch obsessive about this, particularly between the 22nd and 28th, so don’t be
surprised if Christmas routines make you feel stifled and a touch depressed.
The new Moon of the 27th is an especially intense affair
in this respect, and any early New Year resolutions you make to study or travel
will have a fated, highly transformational feel about them. Mercury and Jupiter
get together over the Christmas period too, so the 21st to 29th is a wonderful
time for laughter and interesting conversation about your life experiences and
dreams. Venus meeting up with Neptune at the same time in your career sector
however, means any career issues for those of you who are work-minded over the
festive period will be tinged with a heady hue of romanticism. Leave any
practical career choices until the New Year if possible.
Uranus has been keeping you on your toes with friendships and
group activities over the past few years, as he has made his presence felt in
this area of your solar chart. Uranus brings change and brings it fast, so you
may have experienced some rather erratic, perhaps eccentric or even shocking
behaviour from close pals. You have probably been subject to new people suddenly
entering or leaving your life, which doesn’t sit well with a Taurean, you tend
to want to weigh people up carefully before you let them into your inner circle,
and like to keep what you know close to you. This unpredictable element to
friendships however is actually serving to radically alter your attitude to
friends, and accepting the changes taking place will ultimately teach you to be
more independent around pals and group situations, and not to hold on so closely
