Hello Pisces! There is no doubt
that fishes are extremely intuitive creatures, and enjoy an occasional muse over
the meaning of life, and there will be plenty of opportunity to do this in
August, as several rather rare lunar events get us soul searching in whatever
parts of our lives they touch! We have two new Moons for starters, and to top
that off two eclipses, one symbolising newness and fresh ideas, the other the
end of a cycle and things which need to be finished.
We start with the new Moon of the 1st of
August in your house of work and health. This is also the first eclipse of the
month, and as such any new routines put in place now will have an effect on your
life in six months or so. If you are planning changes at work or a new health
regime, there really is no better time to arrange this, as you will reap the
benefits later. With Venus and Mercury also in this part of your horoscope until
the 6th and 10th of August, you will be keen for this first week to establish
some harmony in your working relations, and the Sun lingering till the 22nd also
increases your desire to let people know what you want.
Your ruling planet Neptune may have
other ideas however about your getting organised, as he continues to create a
strong urge in you for some private time away from the world. Between the 1st
and 20th he squares up to Venus, Mercury and the Sun in succession, and this
will create tension as you strive to forge ahead with your plans despite a
secret desire to retreat into your own world and escape reality. The full Moon
of the 16th here won’t help matters either, this full Moon is the second eclipse
of the month and it shows us what is lacking in our lives, or brings to an end
outdated patterns of behaviour which it may be difficult to let go of. You could
feel at this time as though you don’t want to face the world, and be more
content to live within your dreams and fantasies, which is a nicer place to be.
A private project which you began back in February will also end at this time
and could leave you feeling lost as to what to do next. Take some time to
reflect on this, when Neptune’s influence wanes slightly towards the 20th you
will be able to assess the reality of your situation more clearly.
Close relationships are also under scrutiny
in August as Venus arrives here on the 7th, with Mercury hot on her heels on the
11th. The Sun also joins them from the 23rd, so towards the last week of the
month in particular you will be keen to let loved ones know you are here, and
tell them exactly what you want. The 1st to 14th could cause conflict as you
feel stifled by your partner’s demands, but the 13th to 17th are good times for
discussing shared hopes and ideals together. Saturn also continues to exert his
influence here however so watch that conversations don’t get too heavy. Watch
out also for the 10th to 19th and 26th to 30th when a career issue conflicts
with a partner’s plans, and tempers get a little hot!. The second new Moon of
the month, while not as far-reaching in its effects as the first, is also in the
relationships sector on the 30th, so new plans started with a partner, or a new
relationship altogether, are well favoured now. Enjoy your month!
