December, as Venus meets up with Neptune in your house of love and romance to
being a really wonderful feel to any Christmas activities. If you are planning

rose-coloured spectacles, so while this isn’t always a bad thing over the
festive period, you need to be aware that once this transit ends, the New Year
may bring you down to earth with a bang! Go with the flow but keep in mind that
some of your feelings and desires here may be the result of being caught up in
the festive season, and not based on anything real or practical.
There is a rather heavy feel around domestic matters as
we head into December, this could in part be related to Christmas looming, and
the prospect of all those awkward family moments with relatives you haven’t seen
all year! You may get to the point here in fact where everything you touch feels
extremely emotional and intense. We know that Librans hate discord, so you could
find yourself trying extra hard over Christmas to maintain your personal peace
if you don’t take care. The dates between the 13th and 20th will be particularly
extreme, but you will feel much stronger from the 22nd once the Sun arrives
here, and more able to assert yourself in domestic issues. The new Moon of the
27th is a good time for making some resolutions about changing your family
environment, and these changes could involve something quite big like a move of
house or total change of décor. Take care though, domestic disputes which caused
tension over Christmas may lead you to make impulsive plans about your family’s
future. It may be better to wait until the New Year before you make any big
decisions here.
Mars meets up with the Sun between the 1st and 21st of
December in your communication sector, and this will mark a period of
self-assertion and dynamism around your ideas and conversations. Your natural
Venusian charm views that forthright, aggressive Martian energy with
bewilderment, your way is much more subtle and passive than his tough approach
allows, but you will find yourself feeling more assertive at this time, and more
able to express your personal needs. There may even be a touch of competition
around you relating to plans, and battles for top dog with neighbours and
siblings are also on the agenda. Despite your best efforts, a slightly
aggressive air is bound to creep into your discussions too! This could make you
feel uncomfortable but go with it and allow yourself the freedom to express
yourself openly.
Watch out also in December for tension in your working
environment, particularly between the 4th and 13th, when Mercury squares up to
both Saturn and Uranus here, to have you feeling insecure with a new work role
or task which makes you feel rather unsure or inadequate. The full Moon of
the 12th will show you the way forward, encouraging you to tackle these changes
with a philosophical approach, and broaden your mind to new challenges. Have a
