Hey there luscious lions! July is a period of
reflection for Leos, as the Sun occupies his final house before moving into your
sign on the 23rd of this month. These first few weeks see a period of quietude
for you, which isn’t really the norm for a flamboyant Leo, but which will
prepare you for both your solar and lunar returns at the end of July. With Mars
vacating your sign on the 1st you will also feel a slight dip in energy levels,
but the new Moon of the 3rd is a good time to start a private project which
involves some form of meditation or relaxation. Venus also lingers in this part
of your chart till the 12th, so feelings of love will have a very private,
personal feel to them, it isn’t really a time when you will feel like shouting
your love from the rooftops! Mercury also speeds through this area between the
11 and 27th. He is in a hurry here to make up for all the time he spent moving
backwards in June, so this will be a brief but intense period of guarding your
thoughts very closely and being wary of gossip.
There are several influences to be aware of throughout
the month. Between the 1st and 9th you may have difficulty keeping your feelings
under wraps, particularly in a career matter, as a work colleague pushes you for
an opinion on a tricky issue. There will be support from partners here however,
especially in any projects which involve joint finances or investments. The 10th
to 18th is a time when you will be very conscious of wanting to achieve your

forward here. Between the 19th and 25th you will feel more able to communicate
your feelings, but even then, there will still be an atmosphere of mistrust
around work that you’re not really comfortable with.
Mars spends the month in your house of finances, joining
Saturn, who has been giving your money tree a good old shake for almost a year
now! You will feel like getting straight here during July, but pushing through
your plans and schemes could encounter delays or frustration, especially when
these two planets join together from the 4th to 18th. A better week is in store
from the 23rd to 31st, as a financial bonus finds its way to you for your hard
work. Travel plans will also receive a good dose of Martian determination at
this time, and you will be very organised about any holiday plans.
Mercury lingers in your friendships zone till the 10th of
July, so conversations with friends will be a little busy, and this may cause
you irritability as you won’t really be in the mood for long soul-searching
chats. The 3rd to 8th in particular are confusing times for any money you share
with partners or pals, you may need to get straight here who is paying for what,
as things could get tense. Take care also from the 8th to 10th as a pal’s needs
conflict head on with your own desires, and tempers fly. From the 13th Venus
arrives in your sign, followed by the Sun from the 23rd and Mercury on the 27th,
so towards the last week of July your desire for isolation will start to lift,
and you will feel much more like displaying some of that Leonine style and
