Hello Leo! Venus joins Neptune in your house of
partners from the 8th of December, and the 9th to 17th are romantic days, when
an activity planned together will prove wonderfully idealistic. If children are
involved, these times will be nice and full of love, if a touch sheltered from
reality! The 22nd to 27th also sees Venus and Neptune gliding along together, a
nice aspect for Christmas in that it brings feelings of compassion, love and
romance, not bad things to be thinking of at this time of year. The only down
side to any aspects involving Neptune and to some extent Venus, is that they
have a way of shielding us totally from the truth, and when we do come crashing
back down to earth it’s sometimes with a nasty shock! This is not an overly
practical transit either, so if you need to make any important decisions, make
sure you check all the small print!
Getting organised with everyday routines and chores is
still key in December, so that you can enjoy Christmas without worrying too much
about whether you have remembered all those little luxuries which make it so
special for you. There is lots of activity in this part of your chart however,
so you may feel rushed off your feet and a touch stressed. It’s not so much the
build up to Christmas which will get you, it would be fair to say everyone feels
something of that. It’s powerful Pluto, who made an entry into this zone in
November, making you feel totally compulsive about that one Christmas present
you absolutely must have!
The period from the 14th will be particularly intense for
you as mischievous Mercury also arrives in your work area, and spends the next
two weeks flying around madly, connecting to several other planets across the
skies and sending your mind whirling with all those ideas and plans. You need to
take some extra time to relax here and go with the flow a little without trying
too hard to make things nice for everyone, particularly between the 13th and
17th and 22nd to 28th when Pluto connects closely with Mercury and the Sun. The
new Moon of the 27th also shines under Pluto’s influence, so don’t be surprised
if a New Year fitness plan or desire to clean and organise your world takes hold
of you with a passion! This new Moon really does make use of Pluto’s
transformational powers and so is an excellent time to change your life style or
diet, but at the same time take care not to overdo it.
There is lots of tension around leisure activities too,
the 3rd to 11th sees conflicts over money in relation to a social event you have
planned, and these conflicts could relate to a friend. The full Moon completes a
very challenging aspect here on the 12th to bring hidden feelings over money
relating to friends or social events out in the open. Things have been a little
tense here for some time, and the full Moon has a way of exposing all the
elements of a situation, even the ones you were trying to keep secret, which in
turn forces you to face up to your issues and resolve them. Any resentments
connected to money you have lent or borrowed among friends will be up for
discussion here, and any secret backbiting you have been involved in about
miserly or spendthrift pals will most likely come out into the open. It won’t be
nice, but it will at least clear the air in time for the festive season! Merry
Christmas!
