month also marks the new lunar year for Leos, so there is a great feeling of
freshness and excitement around projects at this time for you. The new Moon of
the 1st of August is also a solar eclipse, so any ideas and plans which you
start at this time will have effects on your life six months from now. This
eclipse is extremely personal for you as it occurs in your sign, and you may
feel like a total change of image here or like altering a part of yourself in
some way. You may want to change your physical appearance or start a new fitness
regime. Either way you will be reflecting on the image you project to the world
and this could be a rather emotional time for you as you take a good hard look
at yourself. With Venus also around here till the 7th, and Mercury lingering
till the 11th, you will be extra charming for this first week of the month too,
and will be keen to express your needs.
Partners may cause some friction however,
placing what you consider to be unreasonable demands on your time, as Neptune in
your relationships house opposes Mercury, Venus and the Sun at various times
between the 1st and 20th. Neptune can be wonderful, he can inspire compassion,
selflessness and kindness in us, but he can also be unrealistic, deceptive and
downright confusing, and it is this down side to his energy which you will be
feeling during this period. You may find partners evasive or impractical, or
they could just seem to prevent you somehow from getting on with what you want.
The full Moon of the 16th could exacerbate this, as it is also the second
eclipse of the month, and it tends to highlight what we are lacking in our close
relationships. A plan or connection made with a partner back in February will
have come full circle now, and you may be feeling a little lost about what to do
next. If you are having problems with a close one, you will feel these issues
very strongly at this time, and may yearn for a better situation. Putting things
right is best left until Neptune’s influence has waned after the 20th, as you
will see things more clearly then.
Finances are not letting up in August, with
Venus entering this area of your chart on the 7th and Mercury on the 11th. The
Sun also arrives here on the 23rd, and you will be very keen to get something
organised here, you have spent a lot of time treading water and waiting for the
right deal or opportunity to come along. As well as two eclipses, we also have
two rather rare new Moons this month, and the second occurs in your financial
house on the 30th, so new ideas generated around this time will bode well for
you. Saturn is also around here so you may make a financial decision which will
take account of your long term responsibilities, and the period of the 13th to
17th could see a bonus or pay rise coming your way. Between the 1st and 14th
however, you need to watch out for sudden loan or mortgage issues which may crop
up, and the 10th to 19th and 26th to 30th are days to guard against overspending
