Greetings and salutations Capricorn! As Mercury finally gets himself back on target after all those miserable weeks retrograde, you will begin to feel much more like your old self when it comes to communicating with those around you. In fact, you will be positively bursting with conversation and interesting opinions until he leaves your sign on the 10th of February! In particular, you will find yourself clearing the air over a dispute or misunderstanding which occurred during the last ten days of December, over the Christmas period. This could have been with a sibling or neighbour, or one of your partner’s parents, and while you didn’t mean to cause offence, you may have unwittingly said something which went down badly! Things have hung in the balance since then, but the first week of this month will see you finally putting things right.
Keep a close eye on those finances in February, there are some confusing and possibly even downright deceptive influences around you. The 2nd to 11th of the month will be especially difficult for being practical about money, you could easily deceive yourself during these days into thinking it will all be alright, putting those accounts off in favour of a healthy dose of denial! The 13th to 18th will also prove difficult days for balancing the books, and you need to double check loan or credit card repayments at this time, because you could overlook an important detail. If you can, avoid signing any debt repayment contracts at this time, as impatience to get on with it will get the better of caution and sensible judgement. On the plus side (there’s always a plus side!), your desire for status via material possessions will be replaced this month by a genuine need for something more spiritual, as you realise that making money isn’t the way to make your soul happy! The new Moon of the 14th is also a good time to put a new financial plan into practice.
The jovial giant of the skies, Jupiter, strode majestically into your house of thoughts and correspondence in January, and as this month wears on, you will begin to feel his optimism and confidence seeping into your ideas and opinions. Capricorns are not the best at seeing the positive side to things, you can be quite pessimistic in your outlook at times, so this will be a real boost for you. You may also notice you are becoming more tolerant over the next few months, and your way of expressing your views will be warm hearted and open. Discussions and the sharing of values and thoughts will go very well here. Benefits and good fortune will also come your way through computers, phone calls and letters, in fact all kinds of communication. It’s all good!
You may experience some issues around training or a learning course towards the end of the month. The full Moon on the 28th will happen in your house of life experience and higher learning, and there are several rather over confident influences around this Moon, which could send you into a rather egotistical spin! As you know, full Moons mark the end of the Moon’s cycle and as such we will see the culmination here of a training or learning course of some kind, which has done its job. However, you need to take care here against being too self assured in your new knowledge.
