Greetings Cancer! September suits you very well, as it’s all about home, your favourite place in the world to be. The planets are busy in this part of your chart, so domestic concerns will very much be the focus for you. With Mars here all month, you will really feel like tackling domestic chores, although there may be a touch of restlessness in the air at home, which doesn’t sit well with your strong sensitivity to your surroundings. Mercury is partly responsible here, as he also lingers till October and brings communication to the fore. Venus compels you to surround yourself with beautiful things until the 24th, and as she departs the Sun arrives to have you concentrating on what you want from family life. The new Moon of the 29th is also a good day for a change, not necessarily of home but perhaps furniture or décor, anything to breathe some fresh air into your environment.

Take care what you plan prior to the 24th however, as Mercury also turns backwards on this day and spends the next three weeks in reverse. Any domestic doors which you opened and dusted behind between the 4th and 23rd of September could suddenly become unhinged, as he unravels what you put in place. It will be mid-October before you really get straight again here. The 7th to 10th also sees partners getting a little bossy and again scuppering your desire for peace, and on the 10th especially your ruler, mistress Moon, connects with five planets, which could make for an emotional day. You won’t feel like getting involved in disputes around now so steer well clear if you can until everything calms down. The days of the 16th to 22nd are creative times for discussing a family financial matter such as a will or inheritance. You will be keen to see everyone treated fairly here, but make sure no-one tries to take advantage of your good will.

With the Sun joining Saturn in your house of communication until the 22nd, your thoughts will be lifted a little, you have been feeling somewhat negative these last few months, but now is the time to say anything serious you have to say and get it off your chest. Don’t mull it over any longer, you have renewed confidence to express yourself at this time. The 1st to 9th in particular are good days for putting some effort into work matters and any jobs which need to be done, getting a partner on board here may also help, although they probably won’t start playing ball properly until after the 10th. Between the 11th and 18th the Sun opposes Uranus over in your travel zone, so expect the unexpected in communication matters regarding a trip, training or a course. The full Moon of the 15th could also bring a sudden opportunity your way here but it will literally mean dropping everything and taking off at the last minute. You also need to be careful if borrowing money to fund some form of travel or higher learning, check the small print and try to be realistic about repayments.

Look out also in September for the pressure on work chores easing considerably, as Jupiter and Pluto both start to move forward again after several months in reverse. You will feel your work load lighten and your attitude to work will also be slightly less compulsive. If you have been feeling under the weather health wise things should also start to improve.
