Hi Cancer! Finances will be
high on your agenda in February, as the full Moon on the 7th shines her
spotlight on your house of money! Those full Moons are very bright, and
not much can hide, so it’s time to be honest about your cash flow and deal with
any issues. You could hear bad news about a regular source of income which
you will no longer be able to rely on, this will also mean having to have a
serious rethink about how you can cut some cash corners! Communication
about debts, mortgages and taxes will also be busy during the first fortnight of
the month, you will have lots of correspondence to deal with, and possibly a
meeting or two. This is an excellent time to let people know your needs in
these areas, you will be articulate and knowledgeable! Look at you!
Just don’t get bogged down with complicated contracts and interest rates, keep
it simple.
Mercury and Venus will be in your
travel zone at different times of the month, and during their visit both
will take turns to square up to Mars. The days of the 1st to 8th and 21st
to 26th will be difficult ones for taking trips, near or far, so leave yourself
plenty of time! Road works, last minute changes of route or venue, and
disrupted travel services, are all likely, and you will quickly become angry and
impatient, which could lead to a bump if you are driving. Your desire to
get away from everyday life and have a change of scene will enhance your
restlessness, and the new Moon of the 21st could provide an opportunity for you
to make a romantic getaway to a weird and wonderful place. With nebulous
Neptune around though, make sure you have all the facts and have double checked
that your boss has authorised your time off!
Domestic affairs will continue to
play on your mind in February, as Saturn turns retrograde in this area on the
8th. There is some good news mixed in with the bad here, because this is
Saturn’s final retrograde period before he leaves this part of your chart
altogether in October! So this really is your last chance to tackle those
difficult family situations and take charge of your problems. Saturn
teaches us to face reality, warts and all, and in the process, we mature and
learn to accept responsibility for our own lives. So take a good look at
what is hurting you in your home life and think about how you can take ownership
for it. If you are caring for an older relative, their health could take a
turn for the worse right now, and it will be mid-June before you begin to see
real improvement.
You will encounter upheavals at work
after the 20th, as the Sun squares the Moon’s nodes, which usually brings
turbulent times! Clashes of will with authority figures, particularly over
issues on which you feel you have to take a moral stand, will cause you
strife. You might have to move desks or be retraining, and this will
require considerable adjustment. Gossiping among colleagues could
also irk you, you will need to be extra careful in whom you place your trust
around this time. You will sense the undercurrents of tension and secrecy in the
air, so try to keep your cool to avoid arguments. Watch your health too,
coughs and colds which arise during this period will hit you hard as your energy
