rollercoaster ride this month Cancer, as we encounter not one but two rather
rare lunar events! We have two new Moons and two eclipses to have us all
reflecting on our plans and achievements, and being ruled by the Moon, you will
probably feel these events quite intensely. Get ready!
Let’s start with the new Moon of the 1st of
August, which also happens to be the first of this month‘s eclipses. The area of
focus for this is your finances, and this date and the two weeks following are
really positive days for beginning a new project which you hope to make money
from, or working out a plan for your future. The plans made around the time of
solar eclipses have far reaching effects, and the results will normally be seen
around six months later, so if you want your money tree to grow nice and tall,
now is the time to sow those seeds. Mercury and Venus also linger in this part
of your chart for the first week of the month, and the Sun remains here until
the 22nd, so you won’t have any problem identifying your needs.
Watch out though for
some issues around other people’s money at this time, that is money you use but
don’t strictly earn such as mortgages, loans and inheritances. Neptune is still
around here preventing you from getting a handle on what exactly is coming in
and out, and between the 1st and 20th he squares up to Mercury, Venus and the
Sun. Neptune diffuses anything practical and concrete into confusion, but it may
surprise some people to know that crabs are actually very good with money, so
you will work this one out with a bit of extra effort. The full Moon of the
16th, which is the second of this month’s eclipses, also happens in this area,
and a lunar eclipse always highlights what we are lacking, so around this date
you could feel quite intensely what is missing from your dealings with third
party cash. A project or repayment scheme you began in February will end now
with positive results, so take some time out to reflect now on what needs to be
done next.
Making contact with your world is also
important during August. Venus and Mercury make an entrance in this part of your
horoscope from the 7th and 11th respectively, so you will be enjoying a chat and
will be keen to get along with people, and the Sun also arrives here on the
23rd. Anything related to getting in touch with those around you will be
important, if you have letters to write or phone calls to make, you will feel
confident in expressing what you need too. Mars will assist you in getting
things done until he leaves here on the 19th. The second new Moon of the month
is here on the 30th, and anyone new who you connect with around this time will
probably be helpful for you in some way. With Saturn around this person could be
in a position of authority or someone older who can advise you.
Just take care between the 1st and 14th, as
Mars oppose Uranus over in your house of travel, be extra careful at this time
when making plans for a trip or higher learning course. The 10th to 19th and
26th to 30th are also days when you need to guard against exhaustion, don’t work
too hard. Look out for Mars entering your domestic area too on the 20th to give
