ARIES- May 2008
It’s all about money this month Aries, as the Sun lingers in your house of personal finances until the 20th of May, and has you wanting to make your mark in the material world. You are keen to show off a bit at this time, perhaps investing in something flashy to show the world how successful you are, and why not! Just don’t go overboard, as with Venus also lingering here till the 24th, you may be inclined to overspend. The new Moon of the 5th is a great time to begin a new financial project, and look out for another fortuitous Grand Trine which was formed by Mercury and the Sun in April. This month it is Venus’s turn to meet up with Saturn and Pluto from the 1st to 3rd, and during these days a little charm will bring good fortune in your career. There is also a rare event in May as the full Moon of the 20th occurs in the same sign as last month. For you an important matter involving a loan, benefit, inheritance or mortgage which you began tackling in April will reach a phase of completion at this time.
The 10th through to the 24th are a busy couple of weeks with the Sun and Venus taking turns to connect to jolly Jupiter and mystical Neptune. The 10th to 17th are lucky days for receiving a bonus or pay rise at work, and flashes of inspiration here will impress an important person in your career, sending you straight to the top of the class. Watch out though as friends are feeling dreamy and may be draining your cash flow or distracting you from the task at hand. The 18th to 24th brings a more easygoing feel to career matters, but with voluptuous Venus involved, this could be a really hedonistic week, spending money enjoying yourself with friends. You may feel a sudden attraction to an unusual object at this time, but make sure you double check any small print on things you purchase, all may not be as it seems!
Mercury is busy in your communication area from the 3rd of May, so discussions, especially with a neighbour or sibling, will be favourable. Be cautious however after the 27th, as Mercury goes into reverse, and misunderstandings are more likely here. Work you have done in this area of your life between the 12th and 26th may also seem to be unravelling before your eyes! You probably won’t get a handle on this again until after the 20th of June. The Sun also arrives in your communication zone from the 21st of May, followed by Venus on the 25th, so this last week could be one of trying to prevent misunderstandings with others, especially in your working environment. Issues which you tackled and cleared up from the 3rd to 5th in particular could come back to you. Work wise, things should feel less pressured as Saturn turns direct on the 3rd, but Jupiter is also turning backwards on the 10th of May, so you may notice less assistance and good fortune over the next few months in your career.
And finally we have Neptune, the fourth planet of the month to change direction, as he also goes into reverse on the 27th in your friendships area. You will feel this more obviously over the coming months, as confusion in social situations becomes more apparent. There is light relief in your domestic area however, as Mars finally vacates on the 9th, instead turning his attention to your leisure time to have you thinking of your next adventure!
