Hi Aquarius! August is a rather
important time for water-carriers, as the full Moon of the 16th occurs in your
sign. This full Moon is also a partial lunar eclipse, so it signifies a rather
soul-searching time for you, as the lunar eclipse highlights what is lacking or
missing in our lives, and you may feel quite lost around this time. A project
very close to your heart, possibly involving a change to your physical
appearance or routine which you began around your birthday this year will also
end now, and although you have benefited from this experience, you may get that
‘what next’ feeling. Neptune here also brings yearnings about how life could be
better, so you may even feel fed up or a little down. If you are planning to
make some changes to your life though it is best to wait until the end of the
month when things are less confusing.
Relationships are also in focus in August,
as the first of two new Moons of the month also represents a solar eclipse, this
happens on the 1st and any plans you make with a partner around this time will
have added effects six months from now. The solar eclipse is about making moves
which will have long term benefits, so this is also a great time for starting a
relationship or making a permanent commitment. Venus is around this area too
until the 6th of the month, and Mercury also lingers till the 10th, so for these
first few days communication with loved ones will go well. The Sun remains here
till the 22nd too so this is a time for letting partners know your hopes and
desires.
With the full Moon’s effects though you need
to take care that you don’t confuse a partner’s wants with your own, between the
1st and 20th especially when Neptune opposes all three planets in your
partnerships house. It is important to establish what you both expect from one
another here and not leave anything to chance, and you also need to try hard not
to be overly accommodating, as you could find that you are getting on the band
wagon of a loved one’s dreams instead of following your own. While there’s
nothing wrong with sharing a common ideal, you need to retain your sense of
identity at this time.
Financial matters are also in focus in
August, as loans, benefits and mortgages, any money you use but haven’t earned
yourself, are all in the spotlight. This part of your chart is the next stop for
Venus and Mercury on the 7th and 11th respectively, and the Sun also arrives
here on the 23rd, so assessing your priorities is all important here. The 1st to
14th are difficult days as Uranus throws a sudden unexpected bill your way,
again we see some difficulty balancing the books. The 13th to 17th are
especially good days however for dealing with a money matter which you want to
keep under wraps, there is an air of discretion about anything dealt with during
this time. The second new Moon of August also happens in your shared money area,
and while not as auspicious as the eclipse, this is still a good time to get
straight with your payments or sort out a benefit matter. Saturn is around too
to add a sense of responsibility to the proceedings, but take care not to take
too much on here, as he is a bit of a slave driver! Watch out also for Mars
